Why a Campsite in Southend-on-Sea?
We think that our great City deserves an amazing site that can help campers, campervanners and caravan owners visit us and see all we have to offer.
We've set up this site for both future tourists to show their support in using a Campsite in Southend on sea, and for local residents to help shape what might be.
Our Story
We have over 30 years’ experience in using campsites, in tents, caravans and motorhomes. We have travelled much of the UK, Ireland, France and Spain, discovering new places and making the most of this great way of going on holiday.
It has long been a vision of Austin’s to own and run a campsite, and we’ve also been aware that our own City (Southend on Sea) has no camping provision close to the attractions and amenities Southend has to offer.
With thousands of families in the UK choosing tents, caravans or motorhomes for their holidays, we feel they are missing out on experiencing all that Southend and the surrounding areas have to offer – and Southend is missing out on additional tourist income.
Our aim is to solve this problem by opening and running a new campsite in the Southend/Leigh area.
